Sale Common Nature Conservation Reserve — Kilometres of tracks and boardwalks through wetlands. Great birdwatching along Flooding Creek Track to Latrobe River.

Thomson River Trail — 4.7km walk/cycle from Port of Sale to Sale Swing Bridge through river wetlands.
