We are OPEN from 8am-6pm Monday-Friday and 9am-1pm on Saturdays, and plan on keeping it that way throughout this pandemic.
As an essential service, we will be able to stay open if lockdown occurs, provided our team stays healthy. In order to do this, we have implemented a limited contact policy. Please phone on arrival to the clinic on (02) 6046 9846 and one of our staff will come to collect your pet or bring your medications/food to you. Telemedicine is able to be performed so that you can be involved in your pets' consultation.
We also now also offer home delivery!
We are able to deliver your pets’ medication (if your pet is a regular patient of the clinic), pet food, shampoos, dental care products and retail items such as toys and leads to your home. Delivery service each Tuesday and Saturday to Albury and Wodonga only.
Please email us: email@example.com if you would like to arrange a delivery. Contactless payment possible.

From today, we will be asking clients not to enter the clinic in order to help ensure both our safety and yours. We will still be consulting, performing procedures, dispensing medications and selling retail items, however the process will be slightly different. We ask that you please call on arrival to the clinic on (02) 6046 9846 and we will talk you through the next step. It’s better to be proactive rather than reactive in these rapidly changing times, and the longer we stay healthy, the more care we can provide for animals.
We have already implemented a two-team system, with the hope that if one team is exposed and is forced into isolation, we will have a second team available to continue providing veterinary care to our patients.
We will also be reducing the number of non-essential services to reduce the exposure risk of our staff and our clients. Our main goal is to be able to continue to keep our doors open to provide health care to our much-loved and important animal patients. Your health is also very important to us and by reducing the number of people in the clinic, we are ensuring social distancing recommendations are upheld.
Importantly, if you are unwell or are self-isolating, please call and we will be able to arrange help for your pet. Please do not come to the clinic.
Also note that we will be accepting EFTPOS only, no cash. Thank-you for your cooperation.
Stay safe everyone!

The clinic is well-equipped with an in-house laboratory, full X-ray and ultrasound facilities, ultramodern surgical theatre, and advanced monitoring equipment.
We are committed to providing the highest standards of care, and you can always rely on us to recommend what is best for your pet.
The Townsend Veterinary Clinic team is small and close-knit, and continuity of care is our priority. The practice is owned by Veterinarian Dr. Shelley Wiltshire and Veterinary Nurse Kim Hawley.
Our vets are highly experienced and all hold additional formal post-graduate qualifications. Our nurses are fully-qualified and experienced, and have all undertaken additional training. We are a group of dedicated professionals with the common goal of making pets happy and healthy.
We treat each animal as an individual, formulating a health plan with your full involvement. With our country approachability, you will feel comfortable and well-informed. We are looking forward to welcoming you into our local practice.
